K.M.E.S. Cassette Available Now

King Mike Entertainment System is the newest project by State Champion Records’ very own King Mike. This full length album was recorded mostly at home from March 2020 to January 2022. Jenna Fairey from the band Spowder played all the drums, Marissa Paternoster from Screaming Females ripped a solo on track 10, our old roommate Quinn McDonald also played some guitar on track 10, and Mike played everything else you hear. KMES started as a pandemic recording project, but has become a real-life rock and roll band with Jenna Fairey on drums and Chelsea Dirck on bass. They’ve been giggin’ around the Hudson Valley and they’ll probably do that some more cause rock and roll is pretty cool.
